THE BODY IS A LIVING STRUCTURE informed by habit THAT MUST BE INTERROGATED TO BE UNDERSTOOD.

Private Yoga

One-on-One Practice for High-Performance Bodies

I approach the body as an adaptive system that continually compensates, reorganizes, and evolves over time. Rather than relying on fixed sequences, I work through careful observation of each individual’s physical and habitual patterns, allowing the practice to respond to what is actually present.

Yoga is not passive stretching. It’s active recalibration.

This is not a class you follow. It’s a practice built around you. Each session is designed in real time—around how your body moves, compensates, and adapts - this is a conversation between your body and someone who’s spent a lifetime listening.

Based in Vancouver, I offer private one-on-one sessions in person and online via Zoom.

ABOUT CHARLOTTE

Charlotte Boye-Christensen

Charlotte Boye-Christensen is a choreographer, educator, and yoga practitioner with over 30 years of international experience.

As the Artistic Director of NOW-ID, she creates at the intersection of choreography, architecture, and sound. This unique spatial intelligence is the foundation of her yoga practice.

To Charlotte, the body is a living structure—one that adapts, compensates, and evolves. Her work is not about following a generic class; it is a real-time assessment of how your specific patterns (physical, neurological, and habitual) are functioning.

Having directed dance companies and institutions and created commissioned works internationally, she brings a rare, high-level perspective to one-on-one sessions. Her practice is designed for those who think deeply and want their bodies to function with the same precision and resilience as their careers. Her yoga teaching draws on decades of somatic practice, helping individuals develop greater awareness, resilience, and precision in inhabiting their bodies.

Based in Vancouver, Charlotte helps professionals transition from simply moving to truly inhabiting their bodies.
